Taylor Group Constructions was recently engaged by one of Australia’s largest financial institutions to deliver a critical services upgrade to a fully operational Data Hall. This highly sensitive project, housing key banking infrastructure, was essential to restore capacity and redundancy to the 830m ² space. Taylor Group Constructions successfully delivered this difficult project with no operational down time.

Taylor Group Constructions recently completed a two level, 600 rack capacity, Tier 3, data centre build within a live data centre environment. The project included a large infrastructure component along with an extremely tight construction program. Taylor Group Constructions worked closely with the client to implement change management procedures and high levels of sub-contractor monitoring / supervision due to the live environment.

Taylor Group Constructions recently completed a 360 rack Data Centre expansion. The Data Centre end user is a global leader in cloud computing services with many high security assets/clients. This project was delivered on time and on budget despite various site and project constraints which included: the requirement for international security clearances, working within change management procedures, programming for live services and infrastructure cut-overs. This required meticulous planning and a high degree of site personnel management to deliver the project successfully.

Taylor Group Constructions has had extensive experience working inside a Northern Sydney Data Centre where we managed several projects over a two year period for a client that required changes to critical services, upgrade of security provisions to meet client requirements, construction of war rooms, node rooms and telecommunication changes. Throughout the term onsite Taylor Group Constructions had to work under the Data Centre operator's rigorous site security provisions due to the live production environments.

Homebush Data Centre

Following the acquisition of an old Data Centre, Taylor Group Constructions was engaged by the building owner to facilitate an internal and external building upgrade prior to occupancy. Additionally, Taylor Group Constructions was engaged by the occupant, a data centre operator, to construct a chamber sub-station and facilitate a new 11kV HV supply to the site. Additionally, Taylor Group Constructions was engaged to undertake a site security upgrade.
