Services We Provide

Services Contractor Management

As is the case in most modern buildings the services component—i.e. electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, fire, etc. require routine maintenance.  We can review existing or establish new service agreements / rate agreements to ensure value is being achieved along with performance reviews to ensure that the works are being effectively executed.

Professional Advice

This type of advice is typically offered on a fee basis whereby we are engaged to provide professional advice on an hourly or fixed rate.  Investigative reports are often produced and submitted to the Board / Management for decision making purposes.

Project Management

As a project manager acting on behalf of the client we can organise and administer any level of construction related works, including design and documentation, tendering and contract administration. Typically, this is done on a fixed fee basis.

Minor Asset Maintenance

Organising a tradesman for minor asset maintenance such as painting and patching walls, repairs to doors and door lock etc are required by many building owners.  We can ensure the right tradesman is engaged along with ensuring, appropriate licenses, insurances and OHS requirements are satisfied.

WHS Assessment / Management

We can provide an OHS assessment on behalf of building owners and take steps to mitigate or reduce potential liabilities.  Building owners and employers share a duty of care where facilities are accessible by employees and the public.

BCA / Council Compliance

We can organise BCA assessments, Council Approvals and arrange for the rectification of any non compliances, orders etc.

Disability Discrimination Act Compliance

Complying with current regulations has become complex issue particularly in relation to Accessible facilities.  We can offer advice on broad range of compliance issues and undertake a DDA assessment in order that further steps can be taken to mitigate any related liabilities.

Fire Services / Access and Egress

Compliant building access and egress paths are important for general usage and in the event of an emergency.  We can arrange for an assessment of access and egress paths along with emergency fire services so that building occupants can safely exit a building. 

Taking steps to plan and train personnel in the event of a fire can significantly reduce any liabilities from an owner’s perspective.  We can arrange for such training and provide regulatory signage for buildings and occupants.

Energy Usage

We can arrange for an assessment of building energy usage and determine if any cost effective energy savings can be achieved. Energy usage and ongoing maintenance costs are an important element when evaluating capital expenditure.
